Package range: $108,057 - $128,149. Package includes salary ($95,630-$113,411 per annum paid pro-rata) employer's superannuation and annual leave loading (salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role

We're seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of School Based Education Support students by joining our team of teachers for the following opportunities:

  • 1 x permanent part-time (17.5 hpw) - Glendale Campus
  • 1 x permanent part-time (17.5 hpw) - Miller Campus
  • 1 x permanent part-time (17.5 hpw) - Padstow Campus

Essential Requirements:

  • Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills, plus one of the following qualifications or equivalent:
  • Bachelor of Education - Primary or Secondary OR Bachelor of Teaching – Primary or Secondary (preferred)
  • Certificate IV Schools-Based Education Support OR Certificate IV in Education Support
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details ) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course.
  • Minimum of three (3) year post-qualification experience relevant to your field.

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course.  Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
