What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating Safe Spaces: Foster a warm, inclusive environment where individuals feel valued and supported.
  • Embracing Variety: Work across diverse settings, such as participants' homes, community environments, and group activities, engaging with various individuals to match your skills, experience, and their preferences.
Who We Are Looking For
  • Qualifications That Matter: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent is preferred. Candidates with strong experience supporting people with disability may be considered, provided they are committed to enrolling in and working towards obtaining the relevant qualification.
  • Relevant Experience: Skilled in providing support to people with disability, including implementing positive behaviour support strategies for individuals with challenging behaviours.
  • Communication & Relationship Champion: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport.
  • Inspiring Energy: A vibrant, energetic approach that uplifts individuals and adds to our team's shared passion for excellence.
  • Clinical Confidence: Experience or willingness to work with individuals with complex clinical needs.
  • Heart & Drive: A compassionate, patient, and person-centered approach to care.
  • Know-How: Strong understanding of disability support principles, practices, and the NDIS Code of Conduct, with a commitment to adhering to its standards.
  • Must-Haves: Valid driver's licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and current First Aid & CPR. Covid 19 Vaccination record, A Working with Children Check is required prior to commencement of employment (successful applicants may apply without it but must obtain it before starting).
