Job Title: Disability Support Worker

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to provide high-quality support and care to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and support their participation in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
  • Facilitate access to community activities, appointments, and social events
  • Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Promote independence, dignity, and choice for all clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other health professionals
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment that respects individual needs and preferences

Requirements:

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (if transport is required)
  • Police Check and Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathetic, reliable, and patient approach to care

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.00 – $36.00 per hour
