Role: Desktop Support Engineer (Casual Dispatch)

Location: Melbourne

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day onsite/remote desktop support (hardware, software, and applications)
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document issues in ticketing systems
  • Perform break-fix, fault diagnosis, and resolution across customer operating systems and platforms
  • Support installations, upgrades, imaging, and re-imaging of laptops/desktops
  • Provide support for Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, BitLocker, SCCM, and related technologies

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow / ITSM / CA)
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy updates, and networking fundamentals
  • Skills in PC building, installations, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Windows 7–10, MS Office 365, and enterprise antivirus solutions
  • Basic knowledge of Mac OS for supporting Apple users

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Flexibility to work in a project-based, dispatch environment
  • Ability to coordinate with third-party vendors when required
