Brisbane, Queensland, Australia VINCI Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

We are a successful civil contracting business who has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. About The Project
Seymour Whyte is delivering Coomera Connector Stage 1, a key project to improve transport links between Logan City and the Gold Coast. By building extra crossings over the Coomera and Nerang Rivers, this stage will help ease traffic on the M1 by giving people in growing areas like Helensvale and Coomera another route to use.

The scope of works includes bulk earthworks, hard rock excavation, ground improvements, and the construction of three new bridges.

Our team is excited to take on the many technical challenges of this project and looks forward to delivering practical, well-engineered solutions that meet the needs of the project, the environment, and the community.

As the Quality Engineer, you play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Quality Management System for the Coomera Connector Stage 1 project, working alongside the Project Quality Manager.

  • Oversee the management of document control, records, nonconformance reports, and coordinate with testing laboratories on the project.
  • Analyse and review QMS project data to identify trends, suggest improvements, develop action plans, and generate relevant QMS reports for internal and external stakeholders.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a quality assurance professional for engineering and/or civil construction.
  • Tertiary Engineering qualifications preferred.
  • Working knowledge of client standards and specifications.
