The Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Carpenter / Handyman to join our East Melbourne-based team. This is a hands-on, full-time role working across a wide variety of property maintenance and minor construction tasks on insurance, government and utility infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general property maintenance and repair tasks
  • Deliver minor building works and carpentry projects
  • Assist with concreting, paving, and fence installations
  • Undertake vegetation and tree removal as needed
  • Conduct graffiti removal and detailed cleaning
  • Support other civil maintenance and infrastructure work
  • Maintain site safety and follow Q-Main processes and procedures

What You'll Need
  • Proven experience in general maintenance, carpentry, or handyman work
  • White/Red Construction Card
  • Manual Driver's Licence (preferred)
  • Physically fit, safety-conscious, and reliable
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Willingness to travel or work away occasionally
