Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Professionalism and Care: Show genuine concern for team members, customers, and contractors while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Open-Minded Approach: Embrace diverse viewpoints and maintain a positive, "can-do" attitude.
  • High-Quality Commercial Work: Perform maintenance and repairs on commercial properties, including, age care, local government and school infrastructure.
  • Versatile Skills: Carry out carpentry, general building work, and multi-trade repairs such as small tile, fencing, concreting, plastering, and painting jobs.
  • Mentorship: Train and mentor apprentices, instilling a strong work ethic and carpentry skills.
  • Efficiency: Identify major repair needs, provide accurate labour and material estimates, and update job management systems via mobile apps.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Carpenter with a Carpentry trade qualification.
  • Current driver's licence (manual required).
  • Recent police check (within 3 months).
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • Experience with government projects is a plus.
  • Additional qualifications and multi-trade skills are advantageous.
