About the role

The Production/Logistics Scheduler is a full-time role based in Berrinba, QLD 4117 Aussie Sheet Metal. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating the company's manufacturing and logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely production and delivery of products to customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain production and delivery schedules to meet customer demands and operational targets
  • Liaise with production, inventory and logistics teams to synchronise activities and ensure optimal resource utilisation
  • Monitor production and delivery performance and make adjustments to schedules as needed to meet targets
  • Identify and resolve production and logistics bottlenecks to minimise delays
  • Provide reporting on production and logistics activities and KPIs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve scheduling processes and systems

What we're looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience in production/logistics scheduling or a related role in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry
  • Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Proficient in using scheduling and logistics management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with teams across the organisation
  • Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail to identify and address operational inefficiencies
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, inventory management and transportation logistics
