The Role:

Kempe Engineering is seeking an experienced Hydraulic/Mechanical Service Workshop Supervisor to join our expanding team at our Brisbane workshop (trading as Jacks Hydraulic Services). Working within a close-knit environment, your role will be to lead our team of tradespeople performing a range of tasks both in workshop and site by:

· Lead hydraulic / mechanical workshop team for all forms of services work.

· Lead small work teams and implement any new mechanical services opportunities that are won.

· Lead small work teams and participate in major shutdowns and other major project activities.

· Maintain mechanical services workshop and client site competencies.

· Support Expansion of technical competency in mechanical services.

· Support and assist in branch sales and marketing activities.

· Support and assist in training of Apprentices and Engineering Cadets

· Carry out other duties/projects as required from time to time (by mutual agreement) in accordance with the branch needs

· Provide technical support and solutions for your teams

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

· Australian recognized trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Similar

· Solid understanding and awareness of HSE requirements, responsibilities and obligations

· Proven experience as supervisor with minimum 5+ years in similar role within related industry essential

· Have extensive site and workshop based hydraulic service experience (required)

· Ability to read and interpret schematics with a strong product knowledge

· Decisive decision-making abilities

· Possess strong time management, organizational and team working skills

· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written

· Ability to understand schedules prioritise conflicting priorities, complex problem solving and work under pressure

· Honest, reliable, positive attitude and enable to promote a positive work culture

· An ability to proactively work in a fast-paced environment

· Disciplined attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical

· Current driver's license
