Job DescriptionQualifications
  • Experience in developing strategic / targeted new business markets and sectors within the packaging industry.
  • A solid understanding of packaging materials and their applications.
  • Commercial understanding of the packaging industry with an ability to engage & present findings to senior stakeholders & attain alignment on desired outcomes.
  • Market expertise or a proven ability to quickly learn, to enable the identification of material attributes and customer needs.
  • A strong understand of manufacturing processes.
  • Product development experience in the plastics or similar industries.
  • Effectively builds and maintains professional relationships with customers and market experts.
  • Ability to network internally across different functional teams both locally and internationally.
  • Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a cooperative work environment while working confidently with all levels of management.
EDUCATION / TRAINING:
  • Relevant industry specific experience in packaging materials and / or machinery.
  • Six Sigma certification viewed favourably.
  • Trade or Tertiary Qualification viewed favourably.
  • Driver's License.
  • Q Fever Immunization will be required if access to Fresh red meat processing plants and ensure the health and safety of SEE employee.
