As a People & Capability grad, you'll experience rotations that give you exposure to many areas, including P&C Business Partnering, Leadership & Capability, Talent & Engagement, Advisory, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and Remuneration & Benefits.

The People Capability team is essential to our business, guiding and supporting all team members throughout their employment journey with the Kmart Group. As a P&C grad, you'll add real value every day, whether you're hiring, paying, training, developing, rewarding, recognizing, celebrating, or supporting our amazing Kmart Group employees.

Our P&C team is mostly based in Melbourne, but we also have team members across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally in Asia We're passionate about making Kmart Group a fantastic place to work and grow together.

About the Program

Starting in February 2026, our 2-year program includes 3-4 rotations within the People & Capability (HR) function, with a permanent placement upon successful completion. During the program, you'll engage in practical and meaningful work that impacts our customers and allows you to grow your career through a personalised learning program. You'll be fully supported along this journey, working alongside and learning from industry experts.

About You

We're looking for grads who are innovative, curious, and have a continuous improvement mindset Ideally, you'll have a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business Administration/Management to hit the ground running.

To be eligible for our 2026 program, you'll need to:

• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or have Australian permanent residency at the time of application.
• Have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the past 3 years (i.e., 2023, 2024, or 2025) or be due to complete your degree by the end of January 2026.
• Be able to commence full-time employment in Melbourne in February 2026.
