The Jamestech Group of Companies are well-respected Electrical Contractors servicing the Mining and Minerals, Oil and Gas industries throughout Australia, PNG and Abroad.

Jamestech has a need for several project and construction tradesmen to assist with a new installation in North Qld. This would be a good start for someone looking to enter a long term FIFO Mining Position.

Electrical / Refrigeration / Instrumentation Tradesmen (NW Qld)

Experience below preferred (though not essential) :

  • Electrical Work License (Electrical Fitter / Mechanic or equivalent)
  • Good Overall Electrical Knowledge
  • Maintenance & Construction experience

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent Safety Culture
  • Enjoy working in a small construction crew
  • Current Australian Manual Drivers License
  • Current LVR & CPR

Must be able to complete (or already have):

  • Mineral Mines and Quarry (MMQ) Medical
  • National Police Clearance

Date - immediate start ~ early October 2025

Roster - 12 days on / 2 days off (3 months duration)

Accommodation - Mine Camp Accomodation provided with meals

Travel - Ex. Bne, Tsv
