Heavy Haulage Trailer Mechanic

Location: Penrith NSW

Employment Type: Full-time

We're looking for a skilled Heavy Haulage Trailer Mechanic to join our heavy haulage workshop. You'll be responsible for keeping our fleet of trailers and heavy vehicles in top condition — ensuring reliability, safety, and performance on every job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy haulage trailers
  • Diagnose and repair suspension, brakes, lighting, and air systems
  • Perform general mechanical work as required
  • Conduct safety checks and complete job documentation accurately
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience working on heavy vehicle trailers or similar equipment
  • Solid understanding of air brakes, suspension systems, and trailer electrics
  • Welding/fabrication skills (advantageous)
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
  • Current driver's licence (HR/HC licence highly regarded)

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must hold Australian Permanent Residency or citizenship to be considered for this role
