The Assistant Principal - Teaching and Learning reports to the Principal and Deputy Principal for the strategic leadership of teaching and learning across the College.

The Assistant Principal - Teaching and Learning leads the development and implementation of contemporary pedagogy, high-impact practice and a future focused curriculum in a culture that values community, accountability and aspiration. The role ensures alignment between purpose, policy and practice, with a strong emphasis on the professional growth of staff and the delivery of contemporary, student-centred learning across Years 7–12.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Demonstrate commitment to the Catholic ethos, equity, inclusion and community partnership in learning
  • Lead a future focused curriculum, data-informed practice and staff development
  • Foster a high-performance culture grounded in evidence-informed pedagogy
  • Provide strategic and instructional leadership within a Catholic educational context

Offered as a five-year contract from January 2026 (or by negotiation), applicants must have a right to work in Australia and be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
