As a Trainee Dental Assistant at First Choice Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting the dental team and providing exceptional patient care. In this full-time position based in Narellan, NSW, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop the skills needed to excel in this rewarding field.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring the dental operatory is properly prepared

Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

Greeting and welcoming patients, putting them at ease and gathering necessary information

Providing chairside support, such as handing instruments and materials to the dentist

Performing basic laboratory duties, such as making impressions and models

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment plans

Promoting oral health education and providing patients with post-treatment instructions

What we're looking for

A passion for the dental industry and a desire to learn and grow

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to put patients at ease

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilisation

The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions

No experience is necessary, but the right attitude and a willing to learn and grow
