**Your Role**:
You’ll have an important role providing support to our dentists during their appointments, ensuring they have everything they need to be ale to focus fully on the patient. You understand the importance of good customer experience to generate repeat business and are keen to help people. As a Trainee you will preform a variety of administrative and clinical duties and often work under the direction of the Dentist.

You’ll know you’re succeeding when appointments run smoothly, the clinicians give great feedback and enjoy having you help in the room, and patients are feeling cared for.

**Duties will include but not limited to**:
Greeting patients and preparing them for scheduled dental procedures.

Preparing the treatment room as directed by the trainer and ensure correct instruments are available for the treatment.

Clean and sterilize the instruments and room before and after treatment according to occupational health standards to meet our infection control guidelines.

**Skills and experience**:
High School Certificate or equivalent experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to be punctual and reliable

Computer skills

Excellent time management and ability to multitask

This position is for a person who wants a career in dental, not suitable to University students as the role is for 38 hours per week while undertaking a certificate 3 in Dental Assisting.

Our practice hours are

Monday and Wednesday 8.45 am to 5pm

Tuesday and Thursday 8.45am to 7.30pm

Friday 8am to 4pm (Saturday will be reopening soon)

No previous dental experience needed, only your willingness to learn, a good work attitude and your contribution to advance within our growing team.

**Salary**: $31,000.00 - $34,638.18 per year
