We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Design Officer to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team on a casual basis with a strong likelihood of leading to permanency.
This role is ideal for a passionate designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys bringing ideas to life through impactful visual storytelling.
Key duties and responsibilities are:
- Create concepts and develop design assets for marketing, events and College projects, including both digital and print collateral.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to produce creative assets that reflect the values and culture of St Rita's College.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a consistent visual identity in line with brand guidelines.
- Support the Head of Marketing and Communications in coordinating and publishing parent communications through the College's platforms, ensuring information is accurate, engaging and effectively distributed.
- Organise and maintain a library of design assets including templates, logos and the College style guide.
About you:
You will have:
- Demonstrated experience in graphic and digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- Strong understanding of visual communication, layout, typography and digital design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.

Job requirements:
All staff are required to hold a current Working With Children Check (blue card) before commencing at the College.
