To carry out mechanical maintenance activities across the site, ensuring optimal performance of equipment and machinery in alignment with operational goals.
The successful applicant is to be an integral part of a small but dynamic team maintaining a range of plastic blow moulding equipment and robotic packaging automation, with scope to learn and grow.*
Key Responsibilities**

• Complete scheduled maintenance and respond to mechanical breakdowns as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to achieve optimal outcomes for the business.
• Scope, execute, record, and close out tasks using MEX Work Orders.
• Provide support to the production team to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with Electrical Trades personnel when required.
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement (CI) projects focused on enhancing safety, productivity, quality, and reliability.
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory to support maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate strong safety awareness and consistently uphold a safety-first mindset.
• Apply analytical skills to diagnose faults and resolve mechanical issues.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Prioritise safety in all aspects of work.
• Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to improve machine availability through preventative maintenance programs.
• Maximise utilisation of available labour hours to ensure efficient resource use.
• Continuously improve machinery safety and promote safe working practices.

*Your Skills And Experience*
To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Prior experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of "good practice" preventative maintenance strategies
• Hydraulic and Pneumatics experience
• Trades qualified Fitter or equivalent
