Maintenance Fitter

Job Summary We have a great opportunity for a qualified Maintenance Fitter to join us at our pre-fabrication manufacturing facility in Brendale. We are seeking someone who can perform routine/preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, upgrades and various other activities within the maintenance department, to achieve the most effective and efficient performance of our manufacturing site and equipment. This position is a permanent, full-time role, working afternoon shift Monday to Friday (2:30pm to 10:36pm) with no ordinary hours of work on weekends. Responsibilities and Duties: - Attend to break downs, plant upgrades/modifications and other emergency production requirements as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. - Ensure all work is completed in compliance with any and all OH&S legislation, company policies or set instructions as provided by your Maintenance Supervisor, while maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work area. - Carry out preventative/predictive maintenance work as required to ensure maximum up time of production equipment. Qualifications and Skills - Trade qualified Fitter - Hydraulic and pneumatic experience - Fault finding and problem solving skills - Welding experience an advantage.
