Maintenance Fitter

This has resulted in us becoming the prefab manufacturer of choice for the building industry in Australia. **Job Summary** We have a great opportunity for a qualified Boiler Maker/Maintenance Fitter to join us at our pre-fabrication manufacturing facility in Brendale. We are seeking someone who can perform routine/preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, upgrades, and various other activities within the maintenance department, to achieve the most effective and efficient performance of our manufacturing site and equipment. **Responsibilities and Duties** - Fabricate and shape structural steel and plate work to high standards. - Welding steel or bolting pieces together. - Attend to break downs, plant upgrades/modifications and other emergency production requirements as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. - Ensure all work is completed in compliance with all OH&S legislation, company policies or set instructions as provided by your Maintenance Supervisor, while maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy work area. - Carry out preventative/predictive maintenance work as required to ensure maximum up time of production equipment. **Qualifications and Skills** - Trade qualified Boilermaker - Hydraulic and pneumatic experience - Fault finding and problem-solving skills - Forklift Licence - at advantage, not essential **To be successful in a position, we require you to be**: - Occupational Health and Safety oriented - Reliable, punctual, committed, and hard working - Positive and bring a "can do" attitude to work Please note, all applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
