Ultra Tune Myaree is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis at our Myaree workshop.

Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Motor Mechanics (or equivalent) and have at least one year of full-time equivalent experience in the automotive industry.

The job requires the applicant to be able to perform the following duties to a high standard:

 Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction;

 Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using specialised testing equipment;

 Repair, replace, and adjust worn or faulty parts;

 Disassemble and reassemble engines, brakes, transmissions or steering gear;

 Follow a checklist to ensure all parts are examined and tested;

 Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups;

 Inspect vehicles and issue roadworthiness certificates;

 Discuss descriptions of vehicle problems, and work to be performed, with customers;

 Works well in a team and communicates effectively

The salary is based on 38 hours per week at $75k to $80k per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.

The applicant must also hold a current driver's license and, if not an Australian permanent resident or citizen, possess a valid visa with work rights in Australia.
