Melville Subaru – Full-Time Position

Melville Subaru is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Pre-Delivery / Accessory Fitting Technician to join our busy dealership team. This is a great opportunity to work within a professional, high-performing Service Department that takes pride in preparing and presenting new vehicles to the highest standard before delivery to our customers.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the final preparation and inspection of new Subaru vehicles before handover to customers. This includes the installation of a range of factory-approved accessories and ensuring every vehicle meets Subaru's strict quality standards prior to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fit and install a variety of genuine Subaru accessories (tow bars, roof racks, protection packs, electronics, etc.)
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) in line with Subaru Australia requirements
  • Conduct vehicle software updates, fault code scans and basic diagnostic checks
  • Ensure vehicles are presented to showroom quality for customer delivery
  • Report and rectify any vehicle issues or concerns prior to delivery
  • Maintain a clean, safe and efficient working environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Accessory Fitter (Subaru experience highly regarded)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain high presentation standards
  • Current WA Manual Driver's Licence
  • Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
