We're looking for a motivated and organised Administration Officer to join the team at BMG Plumbing Services. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for clients and play a key role in keeping our office running smoothly. From answering calls and scheduling jobs to invoicing and customer follow-ups, you'll be helping both our trades team and management deliver great service every day.
Your Role Will Include:
- Being the first point of contact for clients – answering calls, responding to enquiries, and managing bookings.
- Coordinating and assigning jobs to technicians using our scheduling platform (Tradify).
- Preparing invoices and quotations.
- Following up with customers to check satisfaction, provide updates, and track outstanding quotes.
- Maintaining accurate client records, job details, and contact information in our systems.
- Supporting technicians and team members to keep workflows efficient.
- Handling a range of office administration tasks, including filing, reporting, and assisting management.
What We're Looking for:
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, or dispatching is beneficial (trade or plumbing industry experience highly regarded but not essential).
- Confident communication skills and a professional phone manner.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Comfortable with computer systems – experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus.
- Familiarity with Tradify/ServiceM8, or similar job management systems is highly valued.
- A proactive team player who's detail-oriented and eager to solve problems.
