Company Description
We welcome fearless thinkers.
For over 100 years, Maurice Blackburn has stood up for those who need us most. With courage and compassion, we extend access to justice to countless Australians. We look beyond the immediate challenge to support people in moments that matter across their lives, and continually push for better solutions for our clients. We invest in and empower our people to stand up for what we believe in and go fearlessly forward together.
We work on real cases, achieving important and positive results in real people's lives, which is why we are one of Australia's most respected law firms. Maurice Blackburn, experience you can count on.
About the role
As a Change Learning Lead, you'll play a critical role in embedding learning as a key enabler of successful transformation. You'll design and deliver engaging, accessible training experiences that empower our people to confidently adopt new systems, tools, and ways of working.
Working closely with product leads, project teams, and change champions, you'll ensure learning is timely, relevant, and aligned with delivery milestones. You'll also contribute to change impact assessments and learning needs analysis, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of diverse user groups across the firm — from legal teams to shared services.
This is a hands-on role for someone who's passionate about helping people learn, adapt, and thrive through change.
The experience we are looking for
We're looking for a learning and development professional who brings creativity, empathy, and structure to the way people learn during change. You'll be someone who can translate complex systems into simple, engaging learning experiences that stick.
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- A strong grasp of learning design and delivery techniques, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and learning styles.
- Proven experience as a systems/process trainer or in a similar learning-focused role, ideally within a transformation or change environment.
- Experience developing a range of learning materials — from manuals and guides to online modules and live training sessions.
- The ability to evaluate learning effectiveness and continuously improve based on feedback and outcomes.
- Workplace training and assessment experience — you know how to design and deliver learning that meets real-world needs.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to collaborate across teams and influence outcomes.
Team MB benefits:
- Ongoing coaching and career development opportunities
- 22 Weeks Parental leave with your superannuation guaranteed and back-to-work transition policy
- End of Year leave, 1 day first year, 4 days after 2 years
- Comprehensive mental health framework, including wellbeing leave (up to 4 extra days per year) and $299 reimbursement
- Rewards and recognition platform with fitness, retail, and entertainment discounts
- A hybrid flex working model
- Salary Continuance & Life Insurance
- 17.5% Annual Leave Loading
… just to name a few. *T's & C's apply
