Interiors For Life is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Support Coordinator to support the smooth running of our operations. We partner with both commercial and custom residential builders to deliver home renovations, commercial fit outs, and joinery projects.

With a strong pipeline of work, we're excited to grow our team with someone who can help strengthen a seamless operation by taking ownership of the behind-the-scenes tasks that keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.

This role would ideally suit someone with cabinet making or building industry experience who is looking to step off the tools and transition into a support role, though this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
  • Preparing drawings for projects
  • Coordinating and placing orders for materials and hardware for jobs
  • Managing customer queries and communication
  • Preparing job documentation
  • Scheduling and workflow coordination to keep projects on track
  • General administration support to ensure smooth business operations

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in the cabinet making, joinery, or construction industry
  • Ability to read, interpret, and complete drawings accurately
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with customers and suppliers professionally
  • Computer literacy (basic use of MS Office, email, Sketch Up or design software advantageous)
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
