About the Opportunity
As Program Manager you will oversee the Youth Homelessness Options Pathway (YHOPP), Youth Diversion Program (YDP), and Register of Appropriate Support Persons (RASP), ensuring high-quality service delivery, staff supervision, and program development. This role includes direct case work, stakeholder engagement, and participation in a 24/7 RASP response roster.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team supporting young people aged 10–25
- Deliver intensive case management and assertive outreach
- Promote youth participation, empowerment, and informed decision-making
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and community partnerships
- Ensure compliance with legislation, reporting, and quality standards
To be successful you will hold:
- Relevant qualifications in youth, community, or human services
- At least 4 years' experience in youth work and program management
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed practice, youth justice, and homelessness
- Proven leadership, crisis management, and staff development skills
- Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal Controlled Organisations

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
