Your new role will be based in St Leonard's on Sydney's leafy lower north shore, and would require the successful applicant to be working onsite Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm in the Head Office. 

This role sits under the group brand managing the general requirements of the accounting needs of all entities across the group.

About the Role 

This is a part time role (3 days per week) and would be suitable for a uni student looking for an opportunity to have exposure working in a finance team. This role is based in our head office located on Sydney's Lower North Shore in St Leonard's and you will be required to be onsite 3 days per week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: 

  • Applying remittance advices
  • End to end organisation of rehabilitation equipment purchases for consultants:
  • Placing orders directly with suppliers
  • Payment of orders
  • Liaison and follow up with consultants / suppliers / management
  • Issue invoices to customers for orders placed
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the finance team

You will be working across: 

  • Various systems (including accounting software and case management systems)
  • Structured induction with ongoing training from CA and CPA
  • Varied role, we will train you on all accounts related tasks gradually
  • Team of 12 - you will have exposure to diverse aspects of Accounts
  • Career progression opportunities within Accounts or our wider business

About You 

  • Currently studying Tertiary Level Accounting
  • Efficient, high level of accuracy and superior attention to detail
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude
  • Intermediate to Advanced level with Excel and strong computer skills
  • Desire to take ownership of your role
  • Exceptional time management and process driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong internal staff relationships
  • A background check will be completed prior to commencement for this role
