About the Position

As part of the Corporate Services Directorate within Finance, the Grants and Sponsorship Officer is responsible for actively seeking out, securing, managing, coordinating, and promoting grant and sponsorship activities to assist the City in diversifying its revenue base.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience in successfully applying for State and Federal Government grants.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing key relationships and collaborate to support and service sponsor needs.
  • Experience in identifying and pursuing funding opportunities to assist the achievement key projects.
  • Ability to coordinate grant applications and revenue diversification, including setting outcomes and coordinating performance to achieve key objectives.
  • High level of presentation and written/verbal communication skills with demonstrated persuasive writing ability.
  • Prioritising, organising and completing work within set timeframes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A current National Police Clearance
  • Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence.
