Richmond, Australia Coles Group Full time $80,000 - $120,000 per year

We've been trusted to serve Aussie communities since 1914 and grown to become a top 30-listed on the ASX with over 115,000 team members and a portfolio of iconic brands. At Coles Group, you'll not only get to make a difference to millions of Aussie lives—you'll also get to see your impact.

About the team

Coles 360 is all about connections. It's how we connect with customers at every turn of their lives. It's how we use the power of Coles' shopper data to maximise that connection. It's how we partner at levels to drive more meaningful campaigns and measure the impact they create.

Coles 360 combines the power of customer connections, media connections and partner connections to offer brands a one-stop media solution.

About the role

We're seeking a proactive and curious Media Executive (Planning) to help drive commercially successful media campaigns. In this role, you'll use data-driven insights to deliver effective strategies for our Supplier Partners, building meaningful customer connections and measurable results.

You'll play a key role in turning insights into action – analysing data, developing strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion. With strong stakeholder relationships at the core, you'll ensure campaigns are optimised and resources are allocated for maximum impact.

You'll also:

  • Develop and implement media strategies across digital and traditional channels
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify the most effective media opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and vendors
  • Create and manage budgets, optimising schedules for desired outcomes
  • Stay ahead of trends and apply best practices to enhance campaign performance
  • Drive measurable commercial success through insight-led media planning.
About you and your skills

You are solutions-focused, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Whether you've come from a media agency, publisher, or brand-side media team, you bring strong commercial acumen, curiosity, and a genuine passion for retail and its many brands.

You'll also have:

  • Experience in media planning and/or media sales, with exposure to FMCG a bonus
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
  • A collaborative mindset, thriving in a team while owning your own objectives
  • A track record of delivering results in a deadline-driven environment
  • Enthusiasm to learn, grow, and contribute to a business on an exciting growth journey.

Sound like you? If yes, we'd love you to apply and be part of the fastest-growing retail media powerhouse within one of Australia's most recognised brands. Here, you'll leverage enormous data and expertise while joining a supportive team with a great culture that's scaling fast.
