Position Description

The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store to ensure high standards of customer service, staff performance, and sales outcomes.

  • Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth service delivery and excellent customer experiences.

  • Supervise, train, and support staff to maintain performance and service standards.

  • Prepare staff rosters and manage scheduling to ensure adequate coverage.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including stock ordering and control.

-Coordinate merchandising, product displays, and promotional activities.

  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

  • Analyse sales performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly operational and sales reports.

  • Maintain store presentation and cleanliness to company standards.

  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed consistently.

Relevant skills and experience

  • Manage daily front-of-house operations, including opening/closing, rostering, and inventory.
  • Strong leadership and team supervision
  • Experience in customer service and conflict resolution
  • Knowledge of stock control, merchandising, and sales reporting
  • Ability to manage rosters, budgets, KPIs, and daily operations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to drive sales and maintain store standards

Required qualifications:

  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor's in Retail Management, Business, or related field
  • Equivalent industry experience may also be accepted

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
