We're on the lookout for a Service Desk Coordinator to lead and support our Service Desk team. This role is all about driving high-quality service delivery, resolving IT issues quickly and effectively, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

This is a full-time role located in our national support office in Bundall till 4.30 or 9 till 5.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting the Service Desk team
  • Managing ticket queues, assigning priorities, and meeting SLAs
  • Acting as the escalation point for complex technical issues
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity problems
  • Providing remote and on-site support across our offices and care homes
  • Maintaining and improving knowledge bases and support documentation
  • Monitoring user feedback and driving service quality improvements
  • Promoting IT security awareness and educating users on best practices
  • Working cross-functionally with the IT team on projects and enhancements

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in IT service desk operations or coordination
  • Previous experience with service desk systems
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills across systems, software, and networks
  • Excellent communication skills — able to translate "tech speak" into plain English
  • Calm, professional, and customer-focused approach
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and lead a small team
  • IT qualifications or certifications (ITIL, CompTIA A+, MCP) are desirable
  • Already have, or the ability to apply for a NDIS workers clearance
  • MUST have a current valid driver's licence and car
