Join CQUniversity's Finance Directorate, where you'll contribute to key functions including financial monitoring and performance, procurement, purchasing, accounts management, and compliance. Our team supports internal and external financial management and reporting, ensures strong financial governance to support the University's strategic goals, and drives innovation and commercialisation initiatives.

As a Business Support Officer, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality administrative, financial, and project support across the entire business area. This dynamic position involves travel and diary management, organising events, coordinating communications, maintaining databases, supporting HR and procurement processes, and assisting with reporting and analysis.

Position Requirements
  • Proven proficiency in computer operation, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email, and corporate information and financial systems.
  • Degree without relevant experience, or associate diploma with at least two years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of University policies and procedures.
  • Proven ability to independently complete tasks, including researching and preparing documentation, managing manager's affairs, and providing administrative support and advice.
  • Proven communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills that demonstrate a strong focus on the provision of quality service to stakeholders.
