Bumbles Café is an iconic and much-loved café in Surfers Paradise, known for our fresh, seasonal food, buzzing atmosphere, and loyal customer base. We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team full-time (38 hours per week).

About the Role:

  • Full-time position (38 hours per week)
  • Must be available to work weekends and peak periods
  • Preparing and cooking breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes to a high standard
  • Assisting with menu development, specials, and seasonal updates
  • Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation
  • Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a busy café or restaurant environment
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency in plating and presentation
  • Passionate about fresh ingredients and quality food
  • Reliable, organised, and able to thrive under pressure
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
