Role Summary
Sydney Boat Agency is seeking an experienced Event Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of client events hosted on our luxury superyachts. The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing high-profile events, ensuring seamless operations, and upholding the company's commitment to quality and discretion. The Event Manager will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver tailored event experiences that align with client specifications and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including client consultations, itinerary development, and logistics management for onboard and offboard activities.
· Liaise with clients to understand event requirements, ensuring alignment with their objectives and budget constraints.
· Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company operational protocols.
· Collaborate with the onboard crew and operations team to ensure seamless integration of event activities with vessel operations.
· Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and provide detailed financial reports to clients and management.
· Maintain accurate records of event details, contracts, and client communications for future reference and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with event management software and tools
- Experience in budgeting and financial management
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $58,733.66 – $109,473.18 per year
Expected hours: 25 per week
