The Event Space creates exciting events and activations across Australia. We're looking for a highly passionate individual to join our team and help us continue to create these awesome experiences.

Generous hourly rates are on offer ranging from $27.50 to $55.00 per hour for onsite event work.

The majority of working hours are outside of normal business hours and includes weekend work.

Approximately 15 to 30 hrs per week is available, based on the event schedule. This position would suit someone who has flexibility in their current work/ study schedule.

The Production Crew position is a casual role that requires the successful applicant to be hands on at event setups and pack downs as well as pre-project preparation of equipment. The successful candidate would be a hard working problem solver, proactive and enjoy being onsite at events.

The Event Space is based in Brookvale on Sydney's Northern Beaches and operate nationally.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with onsite event setups and pack downs

· Pre-project preparation of event equipment e.g. painting, assembly etc

· Load and Unload equipment from vehicles

· Drive vehicles supplied by The Event Space to and from projects as required

· Ensure all event setups and pack downs are done in a timely manner

· Ensure all event setups and pack downs are done safely in accordance with The Event Space policies

· Coordinate suppliers engaged by The Event Space

· Ensure all The Event Space equipment is kept in good working order

· Ensure the warehouse is kept neat and tidy at all times.

Essential Criteria:

· A valid NSW drivers license (Full License)

· Ability to work independently

· Understand a brief and clarify when unsure

· A proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to think on your feet

· Ability to work within a small team, with enthusiasm & willingness to assist across all areas of the business

· Ability to multitask between a number of concurrent projects and help manage conflicting priorities

· Confidence liaising with suppliers including confidence to make and receive phone calls

· General tool knowledge and capability

· Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to be develop trust, maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients

· A passion for events

· Highly organised

· Some domestic travel will be required within this role
