Cospaker Pneumatics is a dynamic and growing company which delivers pneumatic systems, air compressors, servicing, pipe installations and industrial solutions since 1989. As the business enters its next stage of growth, Cospaker Pneumatics is seeking a high-calibre leader to run operations to enable the Director to focus on higher-level strategy and market expansion.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role with ownership, influence, and autonomy — you'll be running the business day-to-day, with support from the Director but be empowered to shape processes, culture, and direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all operational functions: parts, servicing, logistics, production, inventory, quality control, customer fulfilment.
- Develop, document, and continuously improve systems, workflows, standard operating procedures.
- Budgeting, financial oversight, cost control, reporting, and P&L accountability.
- Forecasting demand, resource allocation, supply chain management, procurement.
- Team leadership: hiring, mentoring, performance management, training, and retention of staff.
- Oversee safety, compliance, quality assurance, risk management, and operational policies.
- Liaise with Director and senior leadership on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and capital investments.
- Monitor KPIs, generate operational dashboards and insights, drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the "face" of operations: liaise with suppliers, vendors, external stakeholders and clients as required.
What We're Looking For
- Significant experience (5+ years) in operations management or a senior operations role, ideally working with air compressors, pneumatics or closely related industry.
- Strong track record in process improvements, systems implementation, and operational scaling.
- Experience with budgeting, financial acumen, P&L responsibility.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and operations management software
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
- Ability to lead change, influence culture, and set high standards.
- Familiarity with relevant compliance, quality, safety standards applicable in your industry.
- Knowledge of Australian workplace safety regulations (WHS), quality management systems (ISO 9001), and pressure equipment standards
- A "get it done" attitude, organized, resilient, adaptive to change.
- Valid Australian driver's licence required for travel to client sites and suppliers
- Must have legal right to work in Australia
