Sirva is now seeking Move Management Consultant to support our international clients in Australia.

This role requires on-site to shift times during probation period and offers a hybrid working model once regularized.

Position Overview:

The Move Management Consultant is responsible for providing customer service and coordination of International and/or Domestic relocations for one of our biggest clients. The role is critical in the successful delivery of our services end to end. You will bring your high attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities to the role where no two days are the same.

Functions and Responsibilities:

Communication:

  • Provide communication to relocatee regarding the status of all elements of their move.

  • Ability to interpret and distinguish specifics of each policy and explain how it applies.

  • Actively manage any relocatee issue if/when they arise and ensure 360-degree communication of situations and provide the resolution.

  • Follow up moving services branches and third-party suppliers for outstanding information regarding client moves or quotations.

  • Ability to pass on information effectively; orally and written.

  • Must possess keen influencing and negotiating skills

Customer Focus (external & Internal)

  • Take effective action to identify and act on customer needs.

  • Acknowledges and respects both internal & external customers

  • Conveys accurate information & delivers quality customer service targets

Teamwork

  • Collating and escalating issues if required to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • To report real and potential problems, as well as any unsatisfactory practices, to your manager for action.

Work Organization

  • In the case of removals, arrange for the packing/shipping/storage of relocates personal effects, cars and animals etc. Liaise between the relocatee, client, removalist and any third-party supplier. Track process through delivery of goods.

  • Co-ordinate the necessary travel, transport and accommodation arrangements.

  • Administer initiation and activation documentation from clients and establish and maintain files for each relocatee.

  • Make timely contacts with relocatees within given KPI's throughout the duration of the relocation.

  • Effective planning priorities and meeting targets & key job responsibilities.

  • Accuracy, detail and reliability.

  • Move quickly and with appropriate discipline to keep us ahead of the competition.

  • Ability to balance demands and work systematically.

  • Ability to accept and respond to change.

  • Ability to take on and develop new concepts

Finance and Billing

  • Reconcile and authorize third party supplier invoices before being passed to the Team Leader for approval.

  • Perform Budget Planning and Costing Estimates if required. This involves coordinating third-party quotations.

Systems

  • Maintain follow up systems and maximize success rates where opportunities exist.

  • To work according to the requirements of the Company Quality System.

  • Maintain all internal databases as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering high level of service to clients is essential

  • Excellent ability to build rapport and relationships with clients

  • Good written and verbal communication skills and diplomacy is required

  • Ability to think and present ideas clearly/logically

  • Must be a team player and self-starter with initiative and drive

  • Experience in a customer focused or administrative role, providing end to end services supporting government clientele. Experience in either International Relocations or Moving Services would be highly regarded.
