Description
AWS is seeking an experienced Go-to-Market Business Development Specialist to help some of Asia Pacific & Japan's largest organizations modernize legacy technology to AWS.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent relationship-building capabilities, a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges, and ability to build compelling value propositions to customers.

This role is critically important as modernization is a top strategic priority for AWS.

Key job responsibilities

  • Serves as a modernization champion within AWS
  • Develops the APJ GTM modernization strategy and leads the execution for AWS modern services, collaborating with AWS sales teams, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
  • Develops a standard market intelligence framework to be utilized by the AWS Field, GTM and Marketing teams
  • Comfortable interacting at the CxO/VP level, to influence AWS or customer executives to take action
  • Partner with various AWS teams to help develop compelling proposals to accelerate modern services adoption, secure lighthouse customers, and drive top-line revenue.
  • Drives field and partner readiness by developing and deploying programs that leverage AWS Field teams, as well as technology and consulting partner channels.
  • Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plan.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven business development, GTM or sales experience
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs or initiatives across cross functional teams
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
  • Experience in multiple APJ countries
  • Proven public speaking prowess.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities
  • Solution Selling experience
