Inclusive Employment Australia will help create a more inclusive future where people living with disability as well as those with injury or health conditions can get support to prepare for, find and maintain work, and grow their career. The program places participants at the centre of the service, improving and simplifying services for people looking for work as well as employers.
Your Role as a Career Coach:

This position is focused on mentoring participants to overcome personal and systemic barriers by developing tailored, individualised plans and fostering a work-ready mindset.
Placing the participant at the centre of service delivery, the Career Coach provides guidance, motivation, and practical support to empower individuals in securing meaningful and lasting employment. Through personalised engagement and a strengths-based approach, the Career Coach helps participants build confidence, develop skills, and connect with inclusive employers.
As a Career Coach, you will be a vital part of someone's employment journey. Working closely with participants in the Inclusive Employment Australia program, you will:
- Place each participant's individual needs, strengths, and employment aspirations at the centre of all planning and service delivery.
- Manage a caseload of participants, providing personalised mentoring, support, guidance, and direction to assist them in achieving employment goals.
- Deliver coaching and support ensuring a consistent and participant-centred approach.
- Build rapport and trust with participants, developing tailored Action Plans that reflect their goals, strengths, and identified support needs.
- Collaborate with Employer Specialists to engage inclusive employers and identify tailored employment opportunities.
- Develop sustainable employment outcomes and long-term career pathways for participants through strong employer partnerships.
- Support employers to implement inclusive practices and reasonable adjustments, fostering inclusive, disability-confident workplaces.

- Organised, reliable, and committed to meeting compliance requirements
Previous experience in employment services, case management, community services, is highly regarded — but not essential if you have the right attitude and transferable skills.
