Who are we?

Island Fresh Produce (IFP), a subsidiary of Tasmanian Independent Retailers, and is one of Tasmania's leading fruit and vegetable distribution outlets, supplying IGA and Independent Retailers, together with food service customers across Tasmania.

About the role:

We have multiple positions available in warehousing and distribution at our Kings Meadows distribution centre. Shifts are varied and may include weekend work and early morning starts, operating 7 days per week.

Shift allowances and penalties apply.

Key Duties:
  • Accurately pack and deliver orders on time, ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction
  • Operate forklifts (licensed operators only) and manage stock rotation in cool room environments
  • Deliver fresh produce to various locations across Tasmania
  • Perform manual handling tasks as required
  • Carry out general warehouse duties
Highly desirable (not essential):
  • Fork lift and/or HR license
  • Demonstrate packing accuracy, driver / operator competence
