Job Description
What's the role?
We're seeking an Executive Manager, Product Governance to play a critical role in strengthening product governance across Business, Wealth, WIB and Treasury. This role in Group Product Governance will provide dedicated experienced support to the Business and Wealth Division, WIB and Treasury, , providing advice, procedural guidance, and support to ensure adherence to the Group's Product and Service Lifecycle (PSL) Policy. You'll champion consistency and "one best way" practices, uplift product governance maturity, and help deliver better customer outcomes and make best practice common practice. A key focus will be enabling effective reporting, supporting compliance with Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO), and driving simplification, digitisation, and capability uplift across the Group, including working with the Head of Product Governance and Performance to articulate the target state for Product Governance across the Group. You'll also work closely with the Senior Manager Product Chapter to create career mobility and development opportunities for Product people.

What do I need?

  • Proven experience in product governance, product management, or risk and compliance
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DDO
  • Demonstrated ability to advise, influence, and coach senior stakeholders, including alignment on Product Management and Product Governance practices, where appropriate.
  • Experience driving process improvement, simplification and reporting uplift
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and governance capability
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to embed consistent practices and deliver better customer outcomes
