*The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Placement Support) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Deliver high level psychological assessment, formulation, brief intervention and positive behaviour support planning
Apply high level knowledge of cognitive, developmental, neurological and psychiatric conditions for patients to facilitate timely discharge or prevent unnecessary admissions
Undertake clinical governance activities related to psychology within the multidisciplinary team
Initiate and contribute to formal clinical research activities that influence standards of clinical practice and delivery of services
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Psychology or equivalent
AHPRA Registration
Driver Licence
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Permanent part time (38 hours per fortnight)
Base salary ranging from $ $69.55 per hour
