What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Manage inspection, maintenance, and operation of Fire Services in alignment with Australian standards, Defence requirements, and Fire Services Authority regulations.

  • Lead the development, configuration, and governance of Fire Services systems and tools, while maintaining delivery and inspection plans and subplans.

  • Ensure data accuracy across systems, monitor contract KPIs, and provide technical input and analytical support for internal and client-facing performance reports.

  • Develop specialist technical capability within the team, foster a collaborative culture focused on quality and innovation, and lead performance monitoring.

  • Maintain technical relationships with Defence Directorates, support subcontractor selection, and ensure subcontractor work meets PAS and compliance standards

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in fire systems inspection and maintenance, with strong knowledge of fire services compliance, asset management, and technical standards.

  • Skilled in CMMS configuration, maintenance planning, and performance data analysis, with proficiency in computer-based systems for scheduling and reporting.

  • Requires Certificate IV or higher in Fire Systems Inspection, FPAA Accreditation, QBCC Fire Protection Licence (QLD), and FPAS Accreditation (NSW/ACT), along with a White Card. Must be eligible to obtain and retain NV1 Defence Security Clearance and a Defence Common Access Card, with prior experience using Defence estate systems and performance frameworks.

  • Demonstrated capability in team leadership, stakeholder engagement, contract governance, systems thinking, and performance analysis.
