This role is based at our Volkswagen Group Australia (VGA) Chullora site, supporting one of the most prestigious automotive brands in the world.

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced
Parts & Logistics Support Specialist
to join our Volkswagen Chullora facility. This role supports the Parts Logistics function by ensuring alignment with global logistics standards, including LoPA, ISO, PCMS, and ECMS. With a strong operational focus, the specialist will ensure procedures are followed, KPIs are met, and documentation complies with VGA quality standards. The role also contributes to operational projects aimed at cost reduction and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess AIMS cases raised by dealers, investigate and process their credit claims daily, request and inspect returned parts from dealers, approving and finalising credits for payment. Reporting on high value damage claims
  • Liaising with Warehouse and Transport Supplier to resolve Dealer issues such as order discrepancies, damaged parts, late deliveries, misdirected freight and credit returns
  • Conduct quality checks on outbound orders, liaise with warehouse supervisor on outbound operational, stock integrity, service and quality issues
  • Work with other departments regarding special requirements.
  • Create and maintain reporting for both internal and external stakeholders that is relative, informative and builds a better customer experience

What We're Looking For

  • Knowledge of VW, Skoda and Audi parts for daily inventory operations
  • Credits, Accounts, Quality or Administration Experience
  • Strong commitment to follow-ups for the latest updates on various logistics compliance issues
  • Previous experience with auditing, quality assurance and reporting desirable
  • Automotive industry experience beneficial but not essential
