About the Role:
Join a passionate and fast-paced Marketing & Communications team where no two days are the same. As our Social Media Content Specialist, you'll bring the Montessori Academy story to life — showcasing the work of our educators, celebrating children's learning journeys, and helping families understand the value of Montessori education.
You might start your week filming a Montessori Work Cycle and interviewing educators, before moving into content planning and campaign development with the team. Throughout the week, you'll edit reels, schedule posts, manage the social media content calendar, and coordinate content capture days and centre shoots. Around once a month, you'll also support Grand Openings, family events, or parenting expos, engaging directly with families and children at our newest centres.
If you're passionate about storytelling, thrive in a dynamic creative environment, appreciate the work of educators and children, and understand what matters to families- all while staying ahead of social media trends- we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Content Strategy
: Create and adapt content strategies that work seamlessly across platforms, driving both organic reach and paid campaign success. - Community Engagement & Growth
: Champion our online community by actively engaging with families, educators, and creators. - Content Ideation & Scripting
: Develop fresh, creative ideas for campaigns and social content. Write strong scripts for videos, interviews, and campaigns. Apply creative editing techniques to produce engaging, high-quality content tailored to each platform. - Content Creation & Storytelling
: Visit Montessori Academy centres in NSW, VIC, and ACT to capture, edit, and share moments of Montessori magic through video, photography, and written content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Red Note. - Event Coordination
: Assist with coordinating and providing hands-on support for marketing events such as expos, centre grand openings, family fun days, conferences, and team events across NSW, VIC, and ACT (approximately once per month). - Marketing Strategy Coordination
: Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop, implement, and manage 360-degree campaigns for more than 60 childcare services. - Photoshoot & Video Coordination
: Liaise with photographers, videographers, and centre teams to deliver high-quality visual content. - Performance Monitoring & Reporting
: Track, measure, and report on the performance of social media content and campaigns. - Competitor & Industry Research
: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and digital innovations.
About You:
- A creative team player with a can-do attitude, positive energy, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.

- Flexible to work weekdays and weekends (approx. 1–2 Saturdays per month, with RDOs/penalty rates).
- Driver's licence and car required (mileage reimbursed for work travel).
- 2–3 years' experience in marketing/content creation, ideally with proven social growth and campaign results.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing (or similar) preferred.
- Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a Working With Children Check (WWCC).
