Norwest Christian College Limited (NWCC Ltd) operates Norwest Christian College, Ngarra Christian College, Norwest Early Learning Centre, and an Out of School Hours Care Centre.

Norwest Christian College is a co-educational pre-school to Year 12 school located in Sydney's rapidly expanding north-west corridor. Founded over 40 years ago through the vision of Riverstone Baptist Church, today the College serves a learning community of over 1300 students and their families. In recent years, the College has witnessed a season of significant and strategic growth, both in student numbers and infrastructure, and also in skilled educators, systems and programs.

The expanding vision which includes Ngarra Christian College, a specialised learning environment; Norwest Early Learning Centre, Out of School Hours Care Centre, an innovative next generation teacher learning hub and the first stage of development for a second campus at Gables which currently has a DA in progress. As a Christ- centred learning community, NWCC Ltd is committed to providing excellence in education that fosters academic achievement, personal development, and strong Christian character.

NWCC Ltd is now inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Non-Executive Director on their Board. Director candidates who are passionate about Christian education and contributing their professional expertise to the governance and strategic leadership of the Colleges are encouraged to apply. This unique opportunity has become possible due to growth, and two Director position becoming available. The successful applicants will be collaborative team players with good sector understanding and governance experience.

Applicants will have:

  • Strong commitment to the Colleges' vision, mission, and values.

  • Active involvement in a local Bible-believing church.

  • Demonstrated leadership, governance, and strategic decision-making experience.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other board members and the executive leadership team.

We are looking for Directors with expertise in one or more of the following fields:

  • Legal

  • Financial

  • Education

  • Leadership

  • Risk Management

  • Property Development

  • Technology

  • Policy
