We are looking for a skilled Test Analyst to join a key program which supports the uplift of various legacy systems and processes, playing an important role in ensuring the quality and reliability of data pipelines and automated testing frameworks. This is an initial 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL processes and data workflows.

  • Validate data integrity across multiple systems using advanced SQL queries.

  • Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python.

  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, developers, and QA teams to identify, log, and track defects.

  • Participate in requirements reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of test strategies and frameworks.

  • Provide clear documentation of test results and data issues for stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with ETL testing in a complex data environment.

  • Proficient in SQL, including writing and debugging complex queries, joins, and stored procedures.

  • Experience with Python scripting, particularly in the context of test automation or data validation.

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data quality best practices.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
