Job Description: In this role, you will be responsible for test strategies and plans based on project requirements. This includes leading test execution and defect management. You will implement and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, etc. You should be capable of mentoring team members and contributing to QA proposals for clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution; relevant experience may substitute education.
  • 4-8 years of experience in Information Technology.

Location: Sydney, Australia.

Salary Range: AUD 82,544 - 90,270 (Annual Gross).

Skills/Competencies:

Must Have Skills:

  • Strong experience in UI and API automation using Selenium (JAVA) & Playwright, with Rest Assured and Postman.
  • Experience in creating robust, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.
  • API automation testing experience.
  • Ability to independently develop and maintain automation frameworks.
  • Experience with BDD/TDD using Cucumber, Serenity, Playwright-BDD.
  • Scripting/development skills in JAVA, J2EE, PL/SQL, Perl, Shell, Python, etc.
  • Experience with code coverage tools like Jacoco, Sonar.
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven, Gradle, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo.
  • Proficiency with version control tools like GitHub, Bitbucket.
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA, ALM, Rally.
  • Experience leading remote automation teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of RPA, analytics-driven testing, AI/ML in QA.
  • Experience with GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot.
  • Experience with mobile automation tools like UFT Mobile.

Preferred Skills:

  • Cloud migration testing experience (AWS, Azure).

Additional Skills:

  • Team player, customer-focused, collaborative, problem solver.
