About the role

The Meat Safe wa' is seeking an experienced Retail Butcher to join our team in Subiaco, WA. As a Retail Butcher, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing high-quality meat products for our customers. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

  1. Cutting, trimming, and preparing a variety of meats to meet customer orders
  2. Providing knowledgeable advice and recommendations to customers on meat selection and preparation
  3. Maintaining a clean, well-organised work area and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  4. Assisting with inventory management and stock ordering as needed
  5. Working collaboratively with the wider retail team to deliver an outstanding customer experience

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Retail Butcher or in a similar role
  2. Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide knowledgeable advice to customers
  3. Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various meat cutting techniques
  4. Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications & Experience

Certificate III in Meat Processing (or equivalent trade qualification)
