About the role

Colour Your Dreams Painting Pty Ltd is looking for a talented and experienced Painter & Decorator to join our team on a casual basis on the Gold Coast, QLD. With most of our work located centrally. As a Painter & Decorator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting and decorating services to our residential and commercial clients. Having a positive can do attitude is a must

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing surfaces for painting by sanding, filling and priming as required
  2. Applying various paints and texture coatings by brush, roller and spray
  3. Working on a vast array of projects on the coast, high end projects to commercial projects
  4. Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment
  5. Providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
  6. Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Painter & Decorator, Trade qualified advantageous
  2. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and equipment
  3. Ability to problem solve and communicate effectively with team members
  4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
  5. Good physical fitness and the ability to work at heights
  6. Reliable, punctual, and a team player. Must be on time & be a "clean" painter
  7. Certificate 3 in painting and decorating (preferred)
